No statistic on this site comes from a language model. Every number is read from an official publication and linked to it. If a model asserts a damage value, that assertion has no standing here — it is not a source, and it does not get recorded.

This matters most for exactly the kind of data this site holds. Weapon statistics change every few weeks; a model’s recollection of them is stale by construction.

• Drafting and editing prose, always reviewed by a human before publication.
• Writing and reviewing the site’s own code and tooling.
• Assisting with the mechanical parts of ingestion — reading a published table into a structured record, which a human then checks against the source.

• As a source of any fact, statistic, date or relationship.
• To approve a data release. Activation requires a named human actor, enforced in code.
• To mark an article as reviewed. That flag cannot be set by automation.
• To generate a byline, an author biography, a photograph, or a credential.
• To fill a gap in the data. An unknown value stays unknown.

Articles carry an AI-assistance note in their frontmatter where any part was drafted with AI help, and that note is rendered on the article. Our editorial standards apply identically regardless of how a draft was produced: sourced, reviewed, corrected when wrong.
