The short version: your tracker progress and saved builds never leave your device, and nothing nonessential runs until you say yes.

What stays on your device

Camo tracker progress, saved loadouts and your cookie choice are stored in your browser’s local storage. They are never uploaded, never sent to analytics, and never visible to us. Clearing your browser storage deletes them permanently — we hold no copy to restore from.

Use the tracker’s export button if you want a backup you control.

Analytics

If you accept analytics, we record which pages and tools get used. Events are a fixed, closed list — a search was submitted, a comparison was created, a weapon page was viewed — and each carries only the small set of fields that event needs.

Search is a specific case worth spelling out: matching runs entirely in your browser. Your query is never sent anywhere. The analytics event records how many characters you typed and how many results came back, not what you typed.

These are never transmitted, under any consent state:

  • camo tracker progress
  • saved loadouts
  • personal notes
  • raw local storage contents
  • authentication data
  • any stable identifier for you as a person

Advertising

Advertising is served by Google AdSense and only loads after you accept it. If you decline, no advertising script is requested — and the site’s Content Security Policy does not permit any advertising host to be contacted at all, so the browser would refuse the request even if one were somehow made.

When advertising is enabled and accepted, Google may set cookies and process data under its own policies. See our cookie policy and advertising disclosure.

Changing your mind

Use “Change cookie choices” at the bottom of any page. Declining takes effect immediately and applies to every subsequent page view.

Accounts

Killstreaks has no public accounts. There is nothing to sign up for, so there is no name, email address or password for us to hold.
