What we record, what we do not reproduce, and how to raise a concern.

Facts versus text

Statistics are facts and are not copyrightable: that a weapon deals 38 damage up to 36m is a fact, and we record it. The prose an official patch note wraps around that fact is copyrightable, and we do not reproduce it. Summaries on this site are written in our own words.

Where we quote, we quote briefly, in quotation marks, with attribution and a link to the original.

Imagery

Every image record carries a rights classification. Images whose rights position has not been settled are withheld from production entirely — the site will show no image rather than an unclassified one.

Killstreaks branding — the wordmark, the chevron monogram, the site design — is original work. We do not use official Call of Duty logos or artwork as Killstreaks branding.

Trademarks

Call of Duty, Black Ops, Warzone and related names are trademarks of Activision Publishing, Inc. They are used here for identification only. Killstreaks.com is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Activision Publishing, Inc.
